When you are interested in areas you do business, you learn a lot of the region just by visiting the region and go for scenic places and restaurant hunting. This place I found on Google Maps and since I was visiting the special castle in Heldrungen I decided to have dinner overhere. The location is situated in an old "Gutshof" which belongs to the von Bismarck family. When you have seen the movie "Die weisse Feder" (the White feather) you feel if you are in this movie (positive) when you arrive. (since the story of the movie is not soo positive) I was for the moment the only visitor, later some hotel guests joined in as well. They have a lovely "Gaststube" which is not very big but lovely decorated with old pictures of the life on the Gutshof approx a century ago. The young chef is providing good food with local vegetables and herbs which tsted very well. They do not have a big choice on the menu, but that is not necessary. What they serve is just nice decent food.
We stayed for two nights with our small kids and really enjoyed the time. Large appartment for a good price, great breakfast & local cake. Owner took care of us whereever possible! Also the area is good for hiking and short trips to e.g Kyffhäuser. We would have expected more animals on the farm and the possibility to give a helping hand (as called out on several portals) This hasn't been possible, therefore 4/5.
Ja, unbedingt. Diese Lokation hat und sehr gut gefallen. Es liegt idyllisch in eine fantastische Naturlandschaft. Die Ferienwohnung hat 45 m2, große Zimmern, große Küche mit alles, was man braucht und ein Bad mit Badewanne. Die Besitzerin ist sehr nett, Mann könnte mit ihr sich gut verständigen. Hunde sind erlaubt und fallen keine Extragebühren an. Wir würden es weiter herzlich empfehlen. Danke Familie Klein für den wunderschönen Urlaub in Ihre FeWo Gutshof von Bismarck
Ein wunderschöner und malerischer Ort. Historische Atmosphäre trifft auf gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnungen. Die Begrüßung von Herrn Trümper und seinem Team waren mehr als herzlich und zugewandt. Das Essen war vorzüglich und selbst gemacht. Das frisch zubereitete Frühstück konnten wir unter Bäumen genießen. Der Service während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes war perfekt.
Sehr schön wieder hergestellt die Gebäude, auch wenn noch nicht alles fertig ist. Trotzdem ein Ausflug wert. In der näheren Umgebung befindet sich auch die Hängebrücke. Ich würde mir vielleicht mehr Werbung für diese Region wünschen, da es doch noch nicht so bekannt ist. Nichts desto trotz kann man hier wunderbar sitzen und bei Kaffee sowie selbst gemachten Kuchen oder auch andere Speisen und Getränke den Tag ausklingen lassen oder sich wieder stärken nach der Wanderung. Ein großes Dankeschön auch an die netten Damen und Herren vom Service.
Sehr schöner alter Gutshof mit leckeren frisch gebackenen Kuchen.Was mich persönlich etwas irritiert hat waren die künstlichen Blumen im Gastraum. Ansonsten ist es sehr einladend, auch der Außenbereich ist einfach traumhaft.Vorallem für Pferdefans ein absolutes Muss, da ein Gestüt mit wundervollen Pferden das ganze umgibt. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
